Camping Games
While games can be fun, be sure not to forget one of the most important camping activities – enjoying being together as a family and talking. Simply asking questions and discussing things that are important to your children can make for a lot of fun just by itself.
Traditional Camping Games
1. Hide and Seek
The
traditional game of hide and seek, where 1 person counts while the
others hide, can be enjoyed safely; however, be certain to remind
children to stay within the defined boundaries of the camp site.
2. Simon Says
3. Jacks
4. Follow the Leader
5. Play “Do as I’m Doing”
around the camp
6. Do the Hokey Pokey or
play Head Shoulders, Knees & Toes (age appropriate)
7. Sports Games
Kicking a soccer ball,
throwing a baseball, etc.
